Grand Rapids Area
Covell Dog Park – 526 Covell Ave NW, Grand Rapids 49504
This dog park is located on the northwest side of GR and features its own parking lot, seating for owners and just about an acre for dogs to run and enjoy.
Downtown GR Dog Park – 210 Market Ave. SW Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Located in the heart of downtown, the park offers water bowls, toys, seats for humans and shade for the warmer months.
Hillcrest Dog Park – 1415 Lyon NE, Grand Rapids 49503
This park is classified by the City of GR as a Neighborhood Park but does it feature as a dog park, as well. Other amenities include a ballfield, 10-20 acres of play space and more.
Rockford Dog Park – Rockford: 200 Longview Dr. Rockford, MI 49341
The Rockford Dog Park offers separate play areas for large and small dogs, toys, water bowls, and shaded areas. The Park is also only a short five-minute walk from Rockford ’s quaint downtown area if you’re looking to explore.
Shaggy Pines Dog Park (Membership Required) – 3895 Cherry Lane Ada, MI 49301
Rated as one of the top 10 dog parks in the country, Shaggy Pines’ 20-acre private park is located in the heart of Cascade Township serving the Metro Grand Rapids area. You’ll find plenty of towering pines, rolling hills, and wide-open green spaces and tons more.
Grand Haven and Spring Lake Area
Spring Lake Dog Park – 17298 Railroad Ave, Spring Lake, MI 49456
A fenced dog park full of lots of room to run, a drinking fountain for dogs & people, picnic tables and some shade. It also has Airlock double gates. Dog owners leave tennis balls & other toys in a toy chest for dogs to play with. There is no separate small dog area.
Coast Guard Park – 18161 North Shore Drive, Ferrysburg, MI, US, 49409
The Coast Guard Park’s west end features a fenced in area to unleash your dog. It is located one mile west of 174th Street off of North Shore Road. The park offers baseball and soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, picnic shelter, play area, restrooms, grills and picnic tables.
Grand Haven Dog Park – 20 S Eastern Ave Grand Haven, MI 49417
An engaging park with an active group of walkers that host events for your pup on a regular basis.
Downtown Muskegon PetSafe Bark Park – 793 W. Western Ave, Muskegon, MI, US, 49440
The fenced-in Dog Park features a small dog area and a large dog area, as well as a dog drinking fountain. The Park is open throughout the spring and summer months, and is closed during the winter.

Kruse Park Dog Beach – 3205 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441
The dog beach is temporarily closed due to erosion. Stay tuned for updates.
Dog Star Ranch (Membership Required) – 4200 Whitehall Road, Muskegon, MI 49445
Dog Star Ranch believes that all dogs, young and old, need a safe environment to play. A well exercised dog is a happier and healthier dog. Socializing and exercising our dogs can keep them from developing negative behaviors. A dog park is for the dogs, but we also believe that humans receive as much exercise and health interacting with their canine friends and meeting new friends.

Fremont Dog Park – S. Lake Drive & Oak, Fremont, MI 49412
The City of Fremont has established a fenced-in, off-leash dog park where well behaved dogs can play and exercise as long as the dog has adult human supervision.
Grand Ravines Dog Park – 3991 Fillmore St Jenison, MI 49428
The dog park is located at Grand Ravines South (on Fillmore East of 42nd Avenue), and is free to the public. It features separate running areas, wash and water stations, walking trails and more.
